How can you reach for the ⭐️ stars if you don’t have enough energy to get to them? I get lots of questions asking ‘what do you eat daily’ and ‘what diet do you follow’ and let me tell you simply: I eat like a runner should. High carbs (60%), protein (10-15%) and fat (25%). . . . Grains 🌾are the foundation of all my meals: brown pasta, whole wheat bread, quinoa, wild rice, oatmeal, etc.. when we live in an era of health hype and nutrition propaganda, it can be hard to know how to eat well🥗🌯🍝🥙. . . . A typical day of eating😋 for me looks like this. •Breakfast• muesli, greek yoghurt, sliced apple, milk and coffee. •Lunch• thick slices of whole wheat bread, loaded with hummus, veggies, greens, and lean meat. •Afternoon snack• trail mix (with brazil nuts!) and a fruit. •Dinner• quinoa, sweet potato, lean meat, side salad with avocado and 🍅🥕veggies. . . . I strive for ⚖️ balance in every meal I eat. I include all the food groups. That is the only way to feel satisfied. I rarely get sugar cravings, but I do treat myself 💕🙊 from time to time!
