Mondays don't have to be bad. Choose to look at it in a different way. Instead of ugh it's Monday, think yay it's Monday, a new day with new possibilities!! You might have obstacles in your way right now but they won't be there forever. Stay strong and focus on the good and the positive and soon those obstacles will be gone 😊 I got up early today to make sure I started my Monday on a good note! My 21 day fix challenge is over so I took my after pictures and measurements and I am so excited to share them with you all soon!! I am almost to my goal weight and I couldn't be happier or more proud of myself. I stuck to this journey, I stayed determined and dedicated to myself and my goals, and when I struggled and had hard times I let those drive me to continue on to become the best version of myself!! 😄 This isn't the end because this journey doesn't have an end. This is my lifestyle, one that I plan to continue and set new goals for myself! I can't believe it's been 10 months since I started and I honestly believe it's the best decision I have made! It has completely changed my life for the better and it can for you too!! ❤️

Taking it back to 1 year ago with the program I fell in love with. Started me on my journey to a new healthy me. I have grown to live country music now and find myself doing the moves every time I hear the song at work or while I am out and about. How well you’re able to cultivate awareness within yourself is directly linked to how happy, likable and successful you are in this world. This is because awareness is the quality that allows you choice over your actions. It is the gateway to change. It's so important that we all #WERK to become more aware and conscientious version of ourselves every damn day. NUMBING yourself with TV, food, drugs, alcohol (my personal go-to numbing device), shopping, sex, denial, indifference, and avoidance will eventually come back to kick you in the ass 10 fold. Trust me. I'm speaking from experience. 😒😝🤦🏻‍♀️ ⠀ ⠀ Activities that help cultivate more self-awareness:⠀ - Sharing openly with people you trust⠀ - Talking to people different than you⠀ - Reading personal development books⠀ - Spending time in nature⠀ - Solitude⠀ - Writing/journaling (my fave awareness building tool)⠀ - Hiring a coach (*ahem 💁🏻) or another helpful professional⠀ - Taking long walks by yourself⠀ - Meditation⠀ - Creative activities⠀ - Exercise⠀ - Anything that scares the hell out of you or challenges your ego in any way⠀ ⠀ I'm not saying anything new. But we all need to be reminded of it over and over again because most people simply just don't prioritize it enough. So go out this week and SCHEDULE in time in your calendar to seek the self awareness you need in your life right now to feel more whole, authentic, fulfilled and peaceful.

My new breakfast routine is a spruced up lean shake. This morning is strawberry, blueberry and banana. 1 cup of lactaid and 4 tbsp of dark 🍫 I did have to use 1/2 a cup of apple juice to thin it out a bit.
