This tiny, 106 gram, grey phase, male #EasternScreechOwl made his way to us today all the way from Warren after being found on the side of the road, presumably the victim of a #VehicleStrike. Although he has a Nasty #headache, we are #CautiouslyOptimistic about his #release. #hawkcenter2015 #owlsofinstagram #InjuredRaptor #InjuredOwl #WildlifeOfInstagram #wildlife #WildlifeRehabilitation

This male #BarredOwl arrived this morning from Hackett after a #VehicleStrike left him on the side of a road. With multiple #bilateral wing #fractures, all located in joints, #euthanasia was our only option. #RIP #hawkcenter2015 #RaptorRehabilitation #raptor #InjuredRaptor #InjuredOwl #WildlifeOfInstagram #wildlife #WildlifeRehabilitation #raptorsofinstagram #owlsofinstagram

We received this #EasternCottontail last weekend, #VehicleStrike victim with #HeadTrauma. We kept it for stabilization with intentions of transferring to a mammal rehabber once stabilized. The rabbit was strong and recovered so quickly, we were able to #release rather than transfer. Here is the #SlowMotion release video. #success feels great! #hawkcenter2015 #hawkcenter #wildlifeofinstagram #wildliferehabilitation #wildlife #WildlifeRescue

This 28 gram, two month old, female #VirginiaOpossum arrived from Clarksville today after her mother and siblings died from a #VehicleStrike. The sole survivor, she has a #fractured right femur and is pretty dehydrated. We got some fluids in her and sent her on to our colleague at Planet Possum. If anyone can save this sweet girl, it will be Louise. #GoodLuck little one! #hawkcenter2015 #wildlife #WildlifeRehabilitation #InjuredMammal #mammalsofInstagram #WildlifeOfInstagram #opossum #possum #NotARat

@ Regrann from wildlifesos - Having spent eight, very painful years as a ‘dancing bear’, Amity had suffered great injustice at the hands of his ex-Kalandar owners. When Team #WildlifeSOS rescued him in December 2012, we found him in a weak and half-starved condition. Extremely timid & scared, given his former experience with humans, Amity was initially wary of the veterinarians & staff but over time realised that they posed no threat to him.Today, this 19 year old gentle bear has made a remarkable recovery and weighs a healthy 118 kilograms. #wildlife #conservation #slothbear #bearconservation #instabear #wildlifeofinstagram #wildlifephotography #rescue #rehabilitation #goodlife - #regrann
