Sooo, I was going to post my leg workout from today but then it occurred to me that I have never really done a transformation photo before! So here 🤗⬇️ . LEFT: NOVEMBER 2016➡️RIGHT: TODAY On the left, I had only been really properly lifting for about 2-3 months. I was still in a weird place mentally and really trying to figure out what "worked" for me in terms of working out and staying healthy. Up until then, I had been really focused on just losing weight (I gained the whole "freshman 15" a year and a half prior so I wasn't new to the gym in general, just to lifting). Prior to lifting, I had really hit a plateau physically and also with my inspiration to work out. I had been obsessed with seeing that number get lower but even in the left, I was not my "lightest weight." . I know now that the scale is not an accurate representation of health all the time, especially with lifting! When you gain muscle, you gain weight, that's just how it goes. The funny thing is, I feel leaner and healthier now than I did when I weighed less on the left. Accepting this fact definitely took time but I think the mindset is clear in my expression. It's sometimes hard to see your own progress physically so it's always good to remind yourself how far you've come. 💪🏻 I am stronger, happier and so much more confident now than I used to be since I found lifting. 🏋🏼‍♀️ I absolutely love how I feel in the gym and it has definitely changed my relationship with working out 💕 . 🇬🇧: Little check up with my coach, he took a look at my form with squats and bench. He told me i need to do an amrap with 176 wich i'm excited about because i didn't squat that weight for a while now. Had 4x6 squats with 155, 3x8 deficits with 165 and 4x5 bench with 92,6. Ended with some quad focused stuff. ------------------------- 🇳🇱: Vandaag een check up met m'n coach gehad, hij lette op m'n vorm voor squats en bench. Hij vertelde me dat ik de volgende keer een amrap moet doen met 80kg waar ik erg verheugd op ben omdat ik dat gewicht al een tijdje niet meer heb gedaan en best wel mis. Ik had 4x6 squats met 70kg, 3x8 deficits met 75kg en 4x5 bench met 42,5kg. Ik eindigde met wat oefeningen gefocused op m'n quads.
