Just finished my second training session of the day. This is the strength week in my powerbuilding program. I did 6 sets x 3 reps of bench 85%1RM. I then did bike sprints to a protocol of: 20 sec max effort: 40 sec active rest x 10 rounds for conditioning. Because of my tendinitis in both my right elbow & rotator cuff I have had to retool my bench form and execution. I no longer feel pain when I bench (thanks to this retooling & my pre/re-hab protocols). As you can see in the footage I am very intentional with the movement throughout the entire range of motion. I was cuing myself to keep my glutes, quads, core, lats, scapula, and chest engaged so as to maintain a very tight & powerful position. Also, another cue was to treat each rep individually (i.e. doing 1 rep 3 different times). Well, it is time to finish my macros for the day. I'm a gtowing boy and I need to eat. Until next time.
