Today I learned that Wednesday is too soon for legs day after running 27 miles on Sunday and then another 15 the next day! Shit sleep, shit workout. Absolutely zero energy and for once, not much love for the gym. Got it done, just about. I’m constantly looking for new core exercises that are also fun. Stumbled upon a video posted by themovementathlete and had to try this myself. Still working on making a pretty face while doing those 🤣😁 Happy that we’ve got parallettes at johnreedwomensclub 🎉 This gym to me is like a big playground anyways 😄😄 So yup! Will do more of these in the future!!

I should start off by saying this isn’t a ‘transformation’ post. Me today on the right (75.1kg) and me on the left 2 years ago (about 67kg). I clearly have very different goals today than I had back then and I’m not necessarily happy or unhappy with myself in either of these pictures but I’ve always liked the aesthetic side of weight lifting so I’m going to see what I can do in a few months of not eating for a family of 5 and be my own hump day motivation.
