Today i found out i have arthritis in my shoulder. Really deep down i knew this for a while but after receiving mri scan results i have a peace of mind knowing whats exactly wrong with me. Now knowing this i can take the first steps to treatment and rehabilitation. People don't see what we as fighters do behind the closed gym doors, early 3am starts and late night running sessions on top of our daily jobs. Everyday we put our bodies on the line for our dedicated craft and like pretty much everything in life it slowly catches up to us. Maybe im a little upset but ive realised this is life and we must roll with punches. Im going to take my time, recover, get as fit as possible and get my body pack to peak physical condition. Then looking forward to a highly anticipated return to the ring. In the mean time, dont sleep on me 🥊 #teamgeorgiou . . . . . #boxing #boxingaustralia #boxinghype #boxinglife #boxingfitness #boxingday #training #padwork #fitness #proboxing #watsonsbay #workoutflow #instafit #sydneyfitness #sydneyfit #recovery #beach #beachlife

pic from ages ago. It’s literally so hot in Hobart haha I am dead from the heat. there’s not much to update about other then that I had my first exams today. I’ve been eating a pretty normal amount and I’ve been getting lots of sleep. I seem to feel really shit a lot though, like no matter what I do it seems to be difficult because I overcomplicate things. Idk maybe it’s just a bit of a confusing time. my body positivity is VERY UP AND DOWN!!! Like some days it’ll be great but some days it’ll be shit. TW - last week I weighed myself and I was 2kgs below my average weight and idk why but I was very happy about it. now I’m more like just eat reasonable amounts because I need to actually take care of my self!! It’s almost Friday yayyy and after exams my friends and I are going to a food thing in town which I’m surprisingly not nervous at all about!!! I’m kinda getting my social life back which is good:) I hope you are all having a great afternoon 🌞

Lost count of how many yeast and bladder infections I’ve had this year. Why? It can’t be good to take these so much or have infections this often. Can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. Actually doing better with my fluids to where my urine has been consistently light for a week or two. Anybody else deal with the same issue? _______________________________________________________ #chronicdehydration #ivfluids #chronicpain #ednos #gpwarrior #gp #gastroparesis #chronicnausea #chronicpain #edsoldier #anorexia #anorexiarecovery #recovery #anxiety #ptsd #bipolardisorder #bipolartypetwo #bpd #eds #eds3 #ehlersdanlos #pots #invisibleillness #chronicillness #painmanagement #qualityoflife #depression #bladderinfection #yeastinfection

I know thanksgiving can be very hard for people, and I understand because it’s hard for me too. But keep this in mind: 1. If your family is divorced, it’s going to feel weird. It might trigger some hidden feelings, whether it be sadness, anger, confusion, or anything else. Don’t feel bad about this. Its perfectly normal for you to feel this way- divorce is hard, and even if it happened years ago, you may still have some repressed feelings. Don’t feel guilty or ashamed of feeling this way. Try to have a good time and focus on what is happening in the present. 2. If you have an eating disorder, I know thanksgiving is one of the hardest times for you. Be good to yourself. It’s okay to not have everything together. Try to stay in the present, don’t focus on your thoughts. Keep in mind that this is a disorder, it’s not you, you are not any less worthy because of it. Your family may try to make you feel guilty about your eating disorder- don’t let them. Try your best to eat something, even if it’s little. Recovery is not easy, so take baby steps if you need to. 3. If you’re alone this thanksgiving, treat yourself. I know it’s hard to see everyone’s posts about being with family or friends, but make today about you. Take this time for yourself. Do something to treat yourself. Especially for divorced spouses who are spending this thanksgiving by yourself for the first time. 4. If a family member has recently died, it’s okay to feel upset. This is my first thanksgiving without my grandpa, and I know it’s going to feel weird and feel like somethings missing, and that’s okay. Don’t focus on their absence- focus on the good times you’ve shared in the past. Give thanks that you were able to have them in your life, and send a little note/prayer up to them. 5. If you have depression or anxiety and are scared to be around anyone, that’s okay. Try your best to get up and join your family or friends. If you need to step out and take a breath, do that. Don’t feel like you have to sit there with your anxiety through the roof. It’s okay to walk away and take a few minutes for yourself. I know it’s hard, but do your best and do what is best for you.
