In my opinion there is no better chest exercise for pectoral development than barbell bench press. Today was a quick one it went like this:Barbell Bench Press: worked all the way up to lazy 2RM then 4x8 as heavy as poss with 1 min timed rest.Incline Smith Machine Incline Press: 1x100 reps. Weight in increments went as follows; 80kg for 25 reps, 60kg for 25 reps, 40kg for 50 reps. No rest.Cable Chest Fly: 4 x 20 reps, using moderate weight just to focus on stretching and contracting as much as possible. That is all. If you want a big chest, heavy bench press is absolute key in my opinion but technique is critical.
