Don’t be fooled. My insta feed and stories are often (almost always) a highlight real of my favourite smoothies, bowls, perfectly cooked veggies, exotic superfoods and healthy af alternatives (because they are the majority of my nutrition)⚡️But anyone who knows me knows I’m all about the “treat yo self balance” #foodielife . I truly don’t believe in all or nothing. That’s not the way my brain works anyways 🤷🏻‍♀️. And lots of ppl are surprised to know that I have a treat yo’ self moment almost everyday. Truth is, I’ve struggling with binge eating for most of my life (trying to get thin and healthy in all the wrong ways) and I know that telling myself “no Kaley you can’t or shouldn’t have that” will only spiral into a full on food massacre down the road. So I don’t. I take that 10% or 15% of my diet and enjoy the F out of it. No guilt. No restricting. Just moderation and following my gut. And yes I would probably have way faster/better/dramatic results + progress but I’m not training for the Olympics here. There is no timeline or due date for my health. I’m training for life, for energy, for confidence, for happiness + alignment 🌙✨. Don’t get it twisted that you have to go extreme to make changes, feel good and get the results you want. (Ps having a gang of supportive peeps working towards the same goals totally helps....doors always open babes 👭👭) . P.s.s this beauty is half vegan chocolate/half vegan vanilla protein powder with a cup of frozen blueberries + unsweetened almond milk + coconut. Pretty much a pulverized blueberry muffin 👅 #nutrientnerd

DATE NIGHT DINNER: Tasty, but definitely not the prettiest plate. Grass-fed rib-eye #steak , baked sweet potato, roasted asparagus spears, and baby salad greens with DIY vinaigrette inspired by biohacku mason jar dressing. ... . Have you ever mixed up a big batch of delicious homemade salad dressing, only to have it turn into a solid mass in the refrigerator? My new "salad dressing strategy" is to premix all of the ingredients *except* for the oil and then refrigerate. When I'm ready to eat, I toss the salad greens with the oil of my choice and then drizzle on my premix. . This keeps the dressing from solidifying in the refrigerator, *and* reduces the risk of hydrolytic rancidification of the fats due to contact with water. Dreaming of sweet potato tofu Buddha bowls hard right now ⚡️my fridge currently has one container of olives in it, so I’m about to head out to loadddd up on some serious fruit and veg 🌿 Today is day 6 of our holiday bootcamp and today is recipe share day + some inspired impulse nutritional/diet info from mua 💙 My problem is I can’t usually follow recipes #rebel and I usually never write anything down that I make 👀 making it super hard to put my ideas down on paper to share. TRAVEL & The Autoimmune Protocol don't have to be difficult or stressful. Here are a few tips that should make your #weekend #getaway even more #stressfree : 1. Stay somewhere with a kitchen or kitchenette. I'm able to keep my produce #fresh in the refrigerator. If I don't have access to a refrigerator then it's all good, Friends! Just be sure to order a lot of salads & greens wherever I'm eating out. 2. Canned fish (wild-caught in water or extra virgin olive oil and sea salt only) so you have quick access to protein and it's a great snack to have in my purse while we are exploring. It doesn't have to be seafood, any canned protein will do as long as has compliant ingredients. 3. Don't make things complicated, focus on one big meal while you have access to the kitchen. My breakfast is piled high with plenty of nutrient dense ingredients. LUNCH-time is my favorite and largest meal of the day. I just roasted up a batch of root veggies #sosimple, tossed them in coconut oil and roasted @ 375 F for 35 mins.
