Fresh banana bread for school when bananas are over-ripe. I’m so pleased I can now use egg and cows milk. I don’t quite believe I’m using dairy in baked goods yet as master 5 is still reacting to milk on chocolate (and of course individual ingredients)....but no reaction so far so must be true. Lol This brings us to the end of our milk and egg trials. Very very pleased that food variety has increased for our biggest boy. 🎉🎉🎉

🥦ACA SI QUE HAY VERDE 😜 Una entrada o snack perfecto si quieres incluir en tu alimentación todos los beneficios de las #cruciferas y los espárragos (Antioxidantes, desintoxicantes, y repletos de vitaminas A, B, C, E, K, etc.) Ingredientes (4 personas aprox): 3 tazas de brócoli 3 tazas de coles de bruselas 20 espárragos Para el untable: 1 zucchini 1/2 taza de cebolla picada 1/2 taza de cilantro fresco 1/4 taza de semillas de cáñamo 1/4 taza de piñones 1 diente de ajo 1 cucharada de sésamo 1/2 cucharada de Semilla cilantro 1/2 cucharada de albahaca seca Sal marina a gusto 1. Cocina al vapor tus vegetales hasta que tomen un color verde vibrante. 2. Mientras tanto pica y procesa el zucchini junto con el ajo, la albahaca, el sésamo y las semillas de cilantro. 3. Agrega la cebolla y las semillas de cáñamo y procesa 4. Agrega el cilantro picado y la sal a gusto. 5. Por último agrega los piñones y procesa dejando una textura un poco crocante y rectifica condimentos según tu gusto Si alguno de los vegetales al vapor que yo usé no te gusta, cambialo por otro y/o puedes empezar agregando poquita cantidad mientras te habituas a su sabor ) --- 🥦GREENS GREENS AND... A BIT OF GREENS 😜 A perfect snack or entree to include all the benefits of #cruciferous and asparagus (antioxidants, detoxifiers, and packed with vitamins A, B, C, E, K, etc.) Ingredients (4 pax aprox): 3 cup broccoli 3 cup brussels sprouts 20 asparagus For the dip: 1 zucchini 1/2 cup onion 1/2 cup fresh coriander 1/4 cup of hemp seeds 1/4 cup of pine nuts 1 clove garlic 1 tablespoon of sesame 1/2 tablespoon of Cilantro Seed 1/2 tablespoon dried basil Sea salt to taste 1. Steam your vegetables until they turn vibrant green. 2. Meanwhile chop and process zucchini with garlic, basil, sesame and coriander seeds. 3. Add onion, hemp seeds and process 4. Add chopped cilantro and salt to taste. 5. Finally add the pine nuts and processed leaving a slightly crunchy texture and rectifies seasonings to your taste If you don't like any of the steamed vegetables I used, change it for another one you do like and/or you can start adding a little quantity while you get used to its flavor )

You bet I got all up in this salad! So filling and good for you. Spring is for salads, so if you want lunch, start boiling two pots of water. Put an egg in one of them to hard boil. Grate some cabbage, carrot and pickles. Dice a sausage. Dice some new potatoes and throw them into boiling water. Steam some green beans in that water and take out with a slotted spoon right when they turn bright green. When potatoes are done, drain and throw into your salad mix. Drain egg when done. Toss with olive oil, brine juice from the pickle jar, a squeeze of lemon, salt and pepper. You asked for it- get ready for your new breakfast staple... 🥁🥁🥁 • Here’s the recipe for the delish banana, carrot, date muffins I made for my #mealprep yesterday! (Can’t take credit for this recipe, I modified one I found on genius kitchen). • Preheat at 350 degrees F. • INGREDIENTS Combine in medium sized bowl: -2 cups blanched almond flour -2 tsp basking soda -1 tsp sea salt (fave is redmondrealsalt) -1.5 Tbsp cinnamon -2 cups shredded carrots • In the blender combine: -1/3 OR 1/2 cup pitted dates (or more depending on how sweet you want- recipe called for 1 cup but I think that’s a bit much!) -3 ripes bananas -3 eggs -1 tsp apple cider vinegar -1/4 cup coconut oil (FYI I didn’t melt mine and it was fine since you blend it) [BLEND ALL TOGETHER] • Combine the blended goodness in the bowl with all the dry schtuff and stir. • Spoon into a greased muffin tin/use muffin liners (I didn’t have any and greasing the tin worked great! Just used butter).. mine made about 16 muffins. • Bake at 350 for 23 minutes, test with a toothpick and if it comes out clean, you’re good! My go-to quick dinner when I don’t know what to make: ZOODLES 🥒💕 • I could seriously eat this dinner any day of the week and be satisfied and happy. My usual strategy is to just throw as much stuff as I can find in the fridge into a pan with the zoodles, but this is my favorite way to prepare them: • ✖️ dice 1/4 onion and sauté in a pan with some avocado oil ✖️ while the onion cooks, chop a few cloves of garlic (I add it after the onion because garlic burns so quickly), some kalamata olives, and sundried tomatoes. Spiralize 1 zucchini ✖️add all the stuff you just chopped into the pan along with the zucchini noodles, season with salt, pepper and a squeeze of lemon ✖️keep the zoodles in the pan for as short as possible—just long enough to heat everything up, then transfer it all to your favorite bowl ✖️I topped mine with homemade df pesto (fresh basil, parsley, pine nuts, 3 cloves garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, lemon juice, nootch), and pine nuts 👌🏼 ✖️ sometimes I’ll add some traderjoes organic chicken sausage but it’s just as good without • My strategy in the kitchen lately has mostly been that of: stare into fridge until inspiration strikes, grab every available ingredient that remotely matches the same flavor profile, throw it in a pan, and then call it a meal 😂 it’s been working so far!! Even the humble zoodle can be transformed into a thing of beauty ✨ (lol) • Spring update: it’s still snowing. The groundhog was right (damn u, Phil). Send sun pls. ❄️🌸

Banana, raspberries & blueberries topped with hemp and chia seeds, homemade choc-almond granola (see blog for recipe), roasted peanuts and nothing but a generous serve of picspeanutbutter! There may also be picspeanutbutter in the smoothie too...peanut butter is life 🙈
