I have a client with Type 1 diabetes. She was struggling with finding the correct nutrition and workout plan to keep her blood sugar levels stable. It had come to a point where she didn't really know what to eat, so she just wasn't eating! I suggested more calories and a moderate percentage of carbohydrates ( which was approved by her doctor). We began strength training two times a week. I was ecstatic to hear that since she began working with me her levels have been more stable! This is why I am so passionate about this new career--I want to help people improve their health. I feel fortunate to have made an impact.
