Trying to grow my stubborn long head of the triceps, doing everything where you have your your shoulders elevated will target the long head of the triceps because you get extra stretch and the long head is connected to your shoulders, all triceps work will however include all 3 heads of the triceps. Another good (excellent) exercise for the back of your arms: push downs! Targets #lateralhead #tricepmuscle I prefer rope instead of bar, as I feel the muscle involvement more and its better for my wrists. On all these isolated tricepexercises I try to go past failure - meaning until I am done and beyond. It stings! 🐝 its supposed to. 8-12 reps 3-4 sets.

#triceptueaday • No rope extension … no problem, 😎😎 • In a recent PT session I had to improvise with a client and came up with this handy little triceps move, 😊😊 • The triceps pulldown exercise effectively isolates the triceps brachii. Include it with other weight training exercises that target the triceps, including lying triceps extension, standing overhead triceps extension and kickbacks (all in my profile) Where can I implement this 🤔🤔 • This works well when you have no anchor point for a band also. • This drill would work great before any heavy pressing like Military pressing or Bench press. • You could use it at the end of your Arm day to bring up the lateral head of the Triceps • It can help improve strength on the top of your heavy presses. __________________ How To Do It 😉😁 • Imagine you are pushing the band apart to break it. • This will give you a great muscular contraction • Keep the elbows to the side and push down hard • The triceps pulldown exercise effectively isolates the triceps brachii.
