Since vowing to go #plasticfree, I'm always hesitant to order those online because of all the packaging 🙈. . . For anyone who orders something online:.💻. . . ⭐ See if the company can package your product differently ⭐ Always ask them to send you a package without plastic or styrofoam (it may or may not work) ⭐ If companies do send through bubble wrap and styrofoam, ask if you can get a return label to return the packaging for reuse ♻️. . These options should be available to everyone, in my opinion. And it doesn't hurt to ask Consideration for the welfare of the planet is sexy, and is the future, so best to embrace it now to be ahead of the game⚡ . Just finished my full body work! 😅💪Tonight was super hard! I didn’t feel like working out at all but my husband helped motivate me by simply sticking to his own workout routine. So i took my pre-workout and pushed myself to do it. Not the best start to the sweat 12 week challenge... Last night I finished work at 9:15pm after a 61 hour week. 😭. Thankfully I did week 1 legs last Sunday as I have to complete two workouts this weekend. I just completed week 1 arms and abs from #bbg1. My pushups are very average now so I had to do pushups on my knees but still did lay down pushups on my toes. Still really enjoy situps and abs exercises in general. This morning I shovelled some more gravel after taking my dog for a walk so it's been busy busy. I’m about to be REAAAL for ☝🏻 second. So fortunately and unfortunately I’ve put on a couple lbs the past two weeks and it’s been on purpose and not on purpose at the same time..weird I know 🤔. One of my inspirations kelseywells posted something today that really stuck with me that we all have similar issues no matter who you are or what you do in the world. She was saying in her post that basically, her friend and her were out to lunch and her friend started critiquing her physique that she works so hard for (and looks DAMN good 🔥if you ask me) and it made her start questioning how she felt about how she looked after having all the confidence in the world. She started questioning HERSELF. I hate hate hate when people feel the need to insert their opinion on how they think YOU should view your body 👀. Recently with all my weight loss, I got to the lowest I’ve ever ever been which I was so so proud of myself for. But then I saw a picture of myself and I had a little voice in my head telling me I was too thin and looked sick (which has NEVER been a problem for me) and then people around me started telling me that. So that brings me to this picture, I’m up about ten pounds from my lowest and I can’t say I’m mad because my mind is telling me “No! Isn’t it nice to see that low number pop up on the scale?!” But then the other side of my brain looks at this photo and says “Damn, I look great with that extra weight! 😍” I haven’t worn a bikini since before I got pregnant over three years ago so this is a little scary for me. My point is, do what makes YOU feel happy 💛🌼 and not what other people think of you. Bulking vs. Cutting !!! (Read on!) • • Obsessed with these leggings from fitnessleggingsstore 😍👌 Bulking- Gain muscle while minimizing fat gains. Cutting- Lose fat, while minimizing muscle loss. - - - BULKING In order to bulk effectively you need to take it slow instead of just overeating all of a sudden to gain muscle. You DO need to eat more overall to increase your body mass. The secret to minimizing fat gain is cardio exercise... butttt at the same time you can’t over-do it or it will prevent you from gaining muscle mass. Basically you just want to be doing a few short intense cardio intervals each week. - The main diet difference between cutting and bulking is your carb intake and reduced/increased calories overall. For bulking you want to eat more Complex carbohydrates such as brown rice, oats, potatoes, etc. Protein and Fat will remain the same in both phases as the key. Bulking is mainly if you want to build a lot of muscle and strength 💪🏻 - - CUTTING When cutting you are trying to get as lean as possible so you will be cutting your calorie intake but you have to do it smart and effectively to make sure you aren’t losing muscle mass. During cutting you will be adding a lot of cardio, eating small meals every 2-3 hours and cutting back in complex carbohydrates. - When cutting you Don’t want to cut weight too fast.. slow and efficient is more effective. Be careful when you’re cutting because your lifts might decrease and that means you need more nutrition to maintain muscle mass. Weight training stays the same you will just be adding 30-45 mins of cardio at least 4x a week. _ _ _ How long should you do a cutting or bulking phase? There’s no right answer on this, different people will do it for different amount of times it really depends what you choose. What’s important is that you spend the time to do both in order to reach your goals. Side note: bulking and cutting is not for everyone and there’s NOTHING wrong if you don’t ever cut or bulk.
