I genuinely love fruits and vegetables. So much. I crave smoothies and salads and roasted veggies every single day. 🍉🥥🍌🍓🥝🥦🍠🥔🥒🍋🍎🍆🌶🥗 When I crave something decadent I naturally gravitate towards foods like nut butters, dates, coconut, maple syrup, dark chocolate, granola and avocado. I don’t crave junk food anymore. Ever. I wasn’t always like this. Throughout high school and my early college years I was obsessed with milkshakes, frozen yogurt, french fries and fried chicken. I had a milkshake every night before I went to bed and I ate Chick Fil A and Papa Johns each once a week. I convinced myself I was healthy because I did sports, didn’t eat red meat and wasn’t overweight. I was chronically stuffy, had constant sinus issues and congestion which I attributed solely to allergies, and then I developed high blood pressure at the age of 18. You cannot out exercise a crappy diet. I have been vegan for 5 years now and so much has changed. In the beginning, my cravings were intense and I continued to eat mock chicken and vegan ice cream all of the time. Over time, I have naturally transitioned to eating more and more whole foods and I cannot express how much of a difference it has made in my life. I promise you, anyone can do it. I am 0% more special than any of you! If you want to try eating a vegan diet centered around whole foods for 14 days — just to see how it feels — I am here to help you out 🤗 I am doing a vegan challenge starting 2/26 that will last 2 whole weeks!
