When you start #intuitiveeating you become aware of how fucked up everyone’s relationships with food can be, and nowhere is it more evident than in how people make unsolicited comments on your food choices. Just a couple weeks ago I was planning to go out to lunch with coworkers, but at 10:30am I got hungry. So I ate, because I’m honoring my hunger! And the amount of shit I got for eating an hour and a half before lunch was insane. For days my coworkers kept bringing it up in a teasing way and finally I was like, “But, like, why do you care what I eat? How does it impact your life that I chose to eat at 10:30am? Don’t project your food issues into me.” I didn’t get an answer to my questions, of course, but the topic quickly got dropped. 🍰 The “Worst” Fat Loss Foods 🍰⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🤔 Did you know that if you eat any of the foods in the infographic above you’ll immediately gain 10 pounds of pure body fat?!⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 😅 I am totally, 100% kidding! However, on this post we’re going to talk about some foods that are the “worst” foods fat loss compared to other foods, that might be “better” for fat loss. Let’s dive in⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ☝🏼 As you can see in the list above, I’ve included foods that I’ve dubbed the “worst” for fat loss. Let’s start off by defining what I mean by that.⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🤷🏻‍♂️ When I say the “worst” foods for fat loss, I do NOT mean that these are foods that cause you to directly gain weight. They are simply foods that make it hard to lose weight because they are calorie-dense (meaning they have a lot of calories packed into a small amount of space). Plus, they’re often not very filling.⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🥊 The punchline? While these foods are not “fat-loss-friendly”, you can still fit them into your diet when portions are controlled. Just know that they are high-calorie, and often not the best choice for progress day-to-day.⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 😃 Ultimately, eat 80% healthy stuff, and fit in fun foods you enjoy with the other 20% (like the foods above). ⛑️ A Quick Guide How To Program Your Workouts.. ⛑️ ..So You Can Finally Get Your Mojo Back.. The gym can be a daunting place, let alone knowing which exercises are best for you and your goal. I'm going to give you a quick run down of what you should be doing based on your level of experience and goal . TOP TIP - There are trainers in EVERY GYM, make the most of them - most will give you a free session so take advantage of that (just don't tell them I told you). If you are going to use a trainer don't just assume they are any good (most are rubbish) - I would just ask them to show you the machines, and basic moves like squats and rows. And if you are going to hire a trainer, I would start by watching how they train their clients and what they look like. Do you want a trainer that only trains bulky guys? Ok back to it... No matter your goal , there MUST be a cardio and weights part to each routine. 🏋️‍♀️ 1. Beginner (never been in the gym before, or have had a while off) 💪 Focus on building up your strength again. Mainly use machine weights to get the big muscles firing AND add in body weight moves like squats, presses and KB deadlifts as these will come in handy as you progress. Aim to do the full body each time you go to the gym, and rest for a day in-between. Do cardio on those in between days. Make sure your cardio is at a relative high intensity as this is where most adaptions are made. 🏋️‍♀️ 2. Intermediate (been going to the gym for at least 6 weeks) 💪 Its time to mix it up and focus on splitting your workouts into two. Upper body on one day , then lower body on the next , then cardio and repeat or rest. These workouts should start with the bigger movements. For upper things like chest press, over head press or rows with smaller movements to follow. For lower start with either squats or deadlifts. You should also start to look at using supersets or circuits. Superset = Do 2 exercises back to back and only rest after the second one is complete. 🏋️‍♀️ 3. Advanced (after 3months) 💪 Time to split it up even more . Break your workouts in to 4/5 and only do each body part once a week.

I hate this phrase, but there's no more appropriate wording for this: Kesha is #bae I went to IHOP this morning and I've been struggling with it ever since tbh. I got what I wanted, but can't stop counting cals and I feel sick at the amount I had just from that one meal. And then I basically restricted the whole rest of the day, which is doubly stupid bc a) well, restricting and b) I kept getting super dizzy and nauseous all day yesterday and it wasn't even that intentional, but at the end of the day I did the math and my intake was well below what it usually is. And then I feel proud of that, like how screwed up is that? Anyway I know how disordered this is, but I'm getting my fiancée up soon to switch "shifts" (I'm up with my dad rn, haven't slept yet & it's almost 3), so I'm gonna go do some exercising and then get ready for bed before I get her up 🙃 and yes, I'm hanging out on a bed next to my father who literally can't even breathe without a machine, and worrying about my body image like wtf.
