Not your typical transformation Tuesday post.. but still an important one‼️ The difference between these two pics besides my hair and smile is ME.. my state of mind and the growth I have gone through. The left pic I was just living life not really working towards anything just kinda coasting and the right pic a year or so later... planning out my business, planning out my competition season, having my own clients (whom I love💕) and guiding them to their own goals, getting my certifications as a coach and soon to be certified personal trainer, learning to fail and get back up and try again, learning to share the most personal parts of my life with you guys and getting amazing positive feed back making me feel more amazing everyday, and most of all connecting more with all of you being. Growth is such an amazing thing thank you for being on this journey with me can't wait to see what the future holds 😁 What is something you have grown in this year?

It's been a hot minute since I've made pancakes😳 I needed more protein today so I thought I would make some Protein Pancakes🙌🏼 I've posted these many times so I'll just give you a quick reminder of how I make them. 1/2 Serving kodiakcakes 1/2 Scoop questnutrition 2 Egg whites waldenfarmsinternational syrup I cooked them on my new electric griddle I got on #blackfriday and I have to admit, this was a great purchase! Powerlifting means a lot to people who take it seriously. It is a wonderful thing to have passion for anything, let alone this sport. It means that when hard times come (injuries, setbacks, life events which cause you to shift focus, etc.), you will be able to look inward and push forward. That is so important! . Problems can happen when that passion cripples and blindsides you from reality. While powerlifting is absolutely a passion endeavor, it is also a sport, and suffice to say, life isn't fair, and that definitely comes into play in powerlifting. . There are some people who are genetically gifted and will be able to follow the same program and diet as you and have vastly better results. There are also people who will follow the same exact protocol and not achieve as much as you. Some of those people will be at your competitions and some won't. Whether they choose to show up is not your problem. . It took me 7 years of lifting seriously to attain a 490 raw Wilks, but I've seen people show up and train for 2 years and hit a 490 Wilks. I have also seen people train for more than a decade in a sensible way and not achieve this much. It hurts but it's the reality we have to live with. . This is to say, the ONLY thing you can do is focus on things that you can control. YOUR training, YOUR diet, YOUR sleep, YOUR attitude, etc. It is out of your control if a freak shows up to a meet and hits a massive total. If someone else shows up and squats a fuckton, good for them! They are working hard too. . We should all be able to celebrate our own accomplishments as well as others’. Believe it or not, being stronger than someone else isn’t as fun as being stronger than you were. The PRs you lift are kilos you earned from training hard. Hair gainz. 💁🏼 Booty gainz.🍑 Confidence gainz.💃Mental gainz. 🙌🏼 I could say so much about this transformation. . . Many people will start their new years resolutions in just a few weeks. Believe it or not the left photo was a result of a new years resolution. I happened to stick with it, and years later here I am, still truckin along. . . I realized early on, this health and fitness thing is a LIFESTYLE. It's not a 12 week challenge, and then you go back to doing what you did before. You have to modify your eating habits and build a healthy routine. 🍽 . . If I can do it, anyone can. I used to eat Mac N Cheese and Oreos everyday😋 and have roommates that can vouch for that 😂 . .
