***Tasty Tuesday*** Garlic Mashed Cauliflower (servings 6-8) Ingredients: • 1 large head cauliflower (washed and cup up into pieces- keep the stems!) • 5 large cloves garlic • Salt • 2 tablespoons grassfed butter • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground nutmeg • Freshly ground black pepper to taste Directions: Fill up a large 6-quart pot with an 1-2 inches of water. Set burner to high. Add in steamer insert. Once water boils, add in all of the stems , ½ of the florets, and all of the garlic. Salt liberally. Add the rest of the cauliflower and season again with salt. Continue to cook until soft (about 10 minutes). Once done, drain out excess water and put everything into a food processor. Season with pepper, nutmeg, and add the butter. Process and check for seasoning. Enjoy! ✋️🚫HOLD UP WAIT A MINUTE!🚫✋️ . I was asked recently HOW HAS COACHING HELPED WITH THE IMPORTANT THINGS IN YOUR LIFE? ANNND I honestly had to take some time to reflect and really think of how I wanted to answer this question.🤔🤔🤔 . Coaching and the opportunities I've been given over the last two years has honestly given me more purpose in my life. Yes I've lost weight...and yes I'm building a business, BUT I have gained skills to be better equipped to deal with personal problems just by recognizing how much physical activity improves my moods and brain chemistry AND by being encouraged and surrounded by people who are improving themselves inside and out. I've gained so much personally from developing a different mindset and have explored learned behaviors and self talk that I know recognize were contributing to me holding myself back. 🙌💫💫🙌💫🙌🙌 . Coaching has allowed me to live and thrive rather than just survive each day. ❤️ I used to do the go through each day, doing pretty much the same thing, not really looking around to stop and be present. Coaching has allowed me to stop and be grateful OFTEN. 💗 I'm more aware of underlying issues and challenges that were manifesting themselves physically and am learning everyday I'm not alone in those struggles and that there are healthy ways of working through them. 💪💪 . It's not just a physical journey but a mental one. 🤓 One where I am learning everyday what really matters and that being frustrated with myself and other people doesn't get me any closer to where I want to be. I had to stop stopping and start doing.👊👊👊
