I'm trying to become a golfer. This was my 3rd time golfing, 1st time this year. I showed up in my "professional" golfing attire, but don't be fooled lol. I shot a 54 ⛳️🏌🏼‍♀️ • My greatest frustration with this sport is that my athleticism plays no role. I can normally jump into a sport and still be good while learning the actual skill. Golf doesn't care if you're an athlete... skill and skill alone 😅

This morning's workout, 'Scrambled Legs', was a total MF 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Uploading to soon. WORKOUT: 1) Leg Extension x15 (4 rounds) 2) Lying Leg Curl x15 (4 rounds) ** use the two exercises above as a warm-up for the full session below. 3) Barbell Squat x20, x15, x10, x10, x8, x8, x8, x20 ** that's 8 sets. Weights should get heavier on each set, on the final set use the weight you used for the second set. 4) Barbell Stiff Leg Deadlift x6-8 (4 rounds) ** go heavy. fucking heavy. 5) Hack Squat x20 - SUPERSET! - Kettlebell Swings x20 (3 rounds) 6) Smith Machine Lunges x12 each leg - SUPERSET! - Weighted Bench Step Ups x10 each leg (3 rounds) 7) Leg Extension x8 - SUPERSET! - Lying Leg Curl x8 (5 rounds)

I haven't shared my fitness story in awhile and after a few of you had asked I thought it would be a good time to share!! I started about a year after my son was born wanting to lose my baby weight & I knew very little about fitness/nutrition. I tried quick fixes, clean eating, and when those didn't work I just ate super low calorie. I hated eating things that didn't taste good & I thought every shake was gross so I ended up eating lots of Lean Cuisines & 100 calorie packs 😖🙅🏼 I struggled to find things that were effective long term (nothing was/and I would binge on the regular) I only did cardio, I would run miles and miles breaking my little body down on probably about 1,200calories a day-some days even less at 800-900...Yikes. I was determined, so I not only lost my baby weight but then some... At 5'1 I weighed 103lbs in the photo on the left and I was wearing size 00shorts (those wouldn't make it up my thighs now 😂) But I was tired...I had horrible back pain from my lack of inner core strength, my metabolism was extremely slow, I had no muscle, and my hair was starting to fall out. I did not lose the weight in a healthy way & it was not sustainable. I can proudly say that in the past few years I've gained a good chunk of muscle (look how tiny my arms & legs used to be 😱), I became a CPT so I could educate and motivate others, and most importantly I learned how to be HEALTHY and KEEP a lifestyle that WORKS!! I eat A LOT now (all day long) and I lift heavy weights! I now weigh about 116-118lbs give or take, I have more lean muscle mass & I can maintain my weight on a much higher calorie intake than before (Yes you read that right, MORE CALORIES!!) Never in a million years would I have thought that I could do some of the things I've done in the past few years like run a 1/2 marathon, my first Spartan race, and even compete in a bodybuilding competition! Photo on the right ➡️ My husband actually had to talk me into doing the first Spartan Race, I had low confidence and I really believed I couldn't do it, that it would be too hard. Crossing that first Spartan finish line was one of my proudest moments!! Continued in comments...⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️
