What an honour it is to encapsulate such vulnerability in a raw form. Thank you thecofeedingmums for allowing me to not only share your imagery with the world, but to also have a panel of 5 judges critique my work. 83 silver award at aipp_official . #VPPY #aipp #accredited #melbourne #awards

I love Chee Cheong Fun in all sorts of assorted fashion. I like this one a lot; thin sheet of Chee Cheong Fan that encapsulate that favourite filling of yours. The only thing is that most will not have the privilege of that steady pouring hand. On vlv dim sum menu, make sure you lightly dip it into the sauce before you pop it into your mouth. #dimsum #vlvsingapore #burpple #burpplesg #thegrowingbelly #clarkequaysg #singapore #noodleeats #jiaklocal #cheecheongfun #whati8today #8dayseat #nomsterofficial

Day 35: Giving Bridgid Duffy - studied Psychology at University of Dundee, and currently a volunteer for CAFOD with the Youth Ministry Team in Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’”Ezekiel 37: 4 - 6 I have always found this piece of scripture extremely powerful, however, it wasn’t until I visited Ethiopia that it began to truly encapsulate my prayer life. A couple of months ago I was given an incredible opportunity to travel to Ethiopia and meet communities that are suffering because of the adverse impacts of climate change. I encountered individuals that are struggling on a daily basis in many aspects of life, due to an extreme lack of water. I spoke to young girls who have to walk for miles every day to collect water, and families who are finding it a challenge to generate an income, as there is no water to nurture their crops. Nevertheless, there was a presence of hope in these stories, as through the help of CAFOD and many other charities, measures are being put in place to help communities adapt more to the effects of climate change. But the story does not end there. Climate change is an ever-growing issue in our world, and if we all do not take action, the world will cease to exist as we know it, and more innocent lives will be lost. It is time for change.God has given us all gifts and talents for a reason – to use them to share his love with others, which includes our Global neighbours. Therefore, over this period of Lent, I urge you to do what you can to help combat climate change. We all know the score about recycling and using electricity and water responsibly. We all need to breathe life into the dry bones of those who are suffering.Through Lent and beyond, think of how you can be a responsible steward of creation, and put it into action.

Statue of Liberty, 1986. synthetic polymer and silkscreen ink on canvas 72 x 72 in. (182.9 x 182.9 cm) Signed and dated “Andy Warhol 86” along the overlap. In honor of Veterans Day (Rememberence Day in Canada), I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to all of those who served their country and to Andy Warhol for producing these timeless works only a year before he passed away. He had a lifelong affinity for Lady Liberty as he produced numerous art pieces bearing her image throughout his career and this set was my particular favorite. Notes:Andy Warhol’s The Statue of Liberty, 1986, stunningly captures the essential qualities of the artist’s late work whilst recalling the iconic portraits of his early career. Clothed entirely in camouflage, the immediately recognizable figure of The Statue of Liberty appears against a jet-black background, existing simultaneously as figure and abstraction. As such, the present work conveys a duality that encapsulates both the artist’s early silkscreened works and his later abstractions. Like his other great Camouflage paintings, the reduced amorphous forms of army green, khaki and white that comprise the camouflage design are graphically dominant; however, here they are used not to conceal but to reveal a figure. An unparalleled icon, laden with historical, social and cultural significance, The Statue of Liberty is a fitting subject for an artist who spent much of his career preoccupied by the dynamics of fame and the iconic. The Statue of Liberty was a gift from the people of France to the United States. The statue is of a robed figure that represents Libertas, the Roman goddess of freedom, and has come, over the course of its life, to stand as the definitive symbol of the fundamental values of freedom and democracy that encapsulate the American Dream. The progenitor of an innately American brand of Pop Art, Andy Warhol chose to celebrate, in the mid-1980s, America’s sovereign muse, the result of which is an impressive group of paintings that are as distinctly American as his Campbell’s Soup Cans. #rememberanceday #colorfulartwork #vivid #andywarholunlimited #visuallystunning #servingourcountry
