Happy Monday! First weekday of spring break for the kiddo! Keeping it whole, simple and healthy. . AJ wanted some chocolate 🍫 in his breakfast this morning, and I indulged him with hersheys syrup drizzled on the bananas and topped with chopped walnuts. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ + 🧒 He also wanted me to snap a photo of him with the plate, so 😸 sure why not, swipe 👉. Involving my kiddo in the kitchen, has made him so much more curious and comfortable with trying new flavors and foods. Our first breakfast 🍳🥓🍉 I wasn’t sure what we’d find, but this will definitely do 👌🏻 • • • This place is absolutely breath taking and so literally _gannon and I only saw 4 other people on the beach yesterday at 6:30pm 😳 it’s such a weird feeling after being in the chaos (although for some reason I love this type of chaos😂)of Disney, but it’s going to be perfect to rejuvenate before going back to reality 😩 • • • When you’re traveling, always look for fresh whole food options for breakfast - stay away from the all of the cereal, bagels, muffins, etc. - it will just make you tired when you’re just about to start your day! (Not to mention too much extra sugar that you don’t need). Sometimes you can’t go wrong with homemade raw chocolate cups made with only 3 ingredients & take less than 20 minutes. Plus you’ll have chocolate cups in your fridge for at least a few days! 😍😋 { serving size varies per person/per craving/per willpower } . Raw chocolate cups: 1/4 cup dignitycoconuts coconut oil 1/4 cup raw cacao powder Enough creamy alchemy sprouted almond butter from thephilosopherstoneground to fill cups to your liking Ps- this almond butter has the most delicious vanilla flavoring! It’s unreal! 😲🤤 . Melt coconut oil & add cacao, stir w/ spatula. Spoon enough chocolate mixture into silicone cupcake molds to cover bottom freeze for 10 minutes add almond butter to middle of chocolate & freeze for 5 minutes use leftover chocolate mixture (or make more if needed) to cover almond butter & create the tops of your cups freeze for 10 minutes or until set store in fridge. . Ich weiß, es geht wohl nicht vielen so wie mir. 😀 Aber sollte es nicht genauso sein? Fragt euch deshalb immer wieder, was ihr ändern müsstet, um morgens mit diesem Tatendrang und voller Freude aufzustehen. I baked my own birthday cake, as I really can't stand overly heavy and sweet bakery or patisserie kind of cakes anymore. I also wanted to use ingredients from our garden and have a wholesome simple cake, no artificial anything or food colorants. So I went for an excellent recipe I found online for a rosemary lemon cake. These days I always cut the sugar content by about a 1/3rd (but have to make up for it by adding more baking soda or baking powder), use yogurt instead of buttermilk, and light olive oil instead of any vegetable oil. Friday I spent the majority of the day with one of my soul-sisters. We began our day listening to a highly credited doctor speak at a local college on the topic of women's health and ended with lunch that included coffee and dessert. . My favprite part of our day was lunch. We spoke about our goals, aspirations, and dreams. Most importantly, we talked about how we are doing to achieve them, while supporting one another. .
