Butter Paneer Masala or Paneer Makhani it was for lunch the other day. For Punjabi vegetarians it is the ultimate dish with its delicious creamy smooth gravy with a little hint of spiciness. Now there is nothing special about Butter paneer masala as it is available all over North India but I am in Guadalajara, Mexico and I didn’t even think Paneer or Cottage Cheese would be available at the store. To my pleasant surprise paneer was available and it was just perfect. It is known as Queso Panela; queso in Spanish means Cheese and there is a whole array of Mexican cheeses.Made with whole milk it has low fat and its origins can be traced back to Burgos, Spain. Panela is usually eaten fresh as a snack or to top salads. Our Tuesday lunch... Matar paneer, oven roasted cauliflower or gobi and jeera rice! . If there is one vegetable I’ve feared, it is cauliflower. All my cooking skills go out of the window when it comes to cooking cauliflower coz I feel I am going to over cook it and I hate the taste of over cooked gobi 🙄 But after numerous attempts I think I have conquered it and this is my go-to gobi dish 🙈🙈 I marinate the cauliflower florets in some oil, salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and a dash of Garam masala; and roast it in a preheated oven. I get a lot of emails about what my #diet is. This is not a loosing #weight diet but a combination of keeping weight, but to lower the #fatpercentage but #gaining #muscles and keeping a good energy level. I used to be wery skinny. Allso its very low budget diet that you can afford ;) ....... My workout diet all season Starting the day with Drinking 2 raw #eggs tot 186cal 16g protein #Codliveroil ( #Tran ) og #Kreatin ....... 3 meals spreaded (lunch, mid day, evening) some times I might replace one meal with chicken or pork meat. ....... Every meal is: 150g #Oatmeal Tot 555 cal Tot 16,5g Protein mixed with 200g Cottage cheese Tot 120 cal Tot 26g protein ....... Snack one 2 #bananas tot 170cal ....... Snack two 400g #CottageCheese tot 240cal tot 52g protein ....... Total in one day not included nutts and vegetabels I allso have as snack. Around 2800 cal and 190g #protein ....... I stay away from candy, sugar, white bread and fastfood
