Trying to get a Chow hall meal look as appealing as possible isn't the easiest thing to do 😂. But honestly this is a great meal, two chopped chicken breasts and rice with steak, cheese, and BBQ sauce with corn and vegetable stir fry. When I first began meal prepping I heard the saying "Stop looking at food as if it's something you always have to love, look at it as fuel for your body". You don't want to put unhealthy food in your body because it'll act just like bad fuel for your car. I could easily get cheeseburgers or cheesesteaks with a cake everyday at the chow hall, but once I started to get in tune with my body I could feel how those unhealthy meals effected me. For dinner I'll be eating basically the same thing except with a salad 🥗. #swiperight for close ups! It’s festival time and I’m gonna post all my food posts that I haven’t had time to do a write up so far.. plus all the food that I gobble during these holidays 😋🙈 So this is tomato rice and curd rice made from barnyard Millet and not rice. (Kuthiravali in tamil) Before Keto/ Low Carb lifestyle, I was trying to replace rice with organic millets and there started my love for it. My age old followers know abt it.. 😘 millets make a dish way more tastier than plain tasteless rice. They are easy to cook too! I pressure cooked them for 3 whistles with 1:2.25 water and I’m done. For tomato rice, I cooked a quick tomato thokku and mixed up the Millet. For curd rice, I mixed with thick curd, milk and a tadka with green chilli and ginger.
