Many people ask me about how to handstand. Firstly, it's important to have a solid foundation to work from so ensure that you build up enough strength in the basic exercises such as push ups & dips,by being able to perform a decent amount of reps with proper form. Work yourself up to doing the frog stand/crow pose for at least 30 seconds- this exercise gets you acquainted with the handstand position. So many handstand artists out there advise against the use of a wall for assistance in the early stages of training for fear of getting into the wrong habits. I, on the other hand, have no problem with this and I feel that a wall can be helpful with regards to building up strength and confidence- as long as you are mindful of certain things. I will be posting a full handstand tutorial where I shall explain all of this in greater detail. Be sure to check out my blog - > See Link in bio for further details. Remember that there isn't a set method of learning to perform handstands. This is my all purpose warm up and an example of entry-level kitchen cardio. I give this to clients to do at home between sessions. It's no equipment workouts that can be done anywhere, even with kids around (mine join in!). Can be done 2-5 times depending on time available and fitness level, and rest periods adjusted as you progress. THE POW POW CIRCUIT....here’s an example of what I do in my boxing class. Try these 7 exercises for 1 minute each, with 1 minute rest, then repeat. 15 minutes of sweaty strength and cardio training: 1️⃣Skipping 2️⃣Press ups 3️⃣Alternate squat thrusts 4️⃣Squat thrusts to stand 5️⃣Leg raises 6️⃣Jumping jacks (clue is in the name) 7️⃣Plank So good if you’re time poor and just need a quick burst💥
