Spent 45 minutes this afternoon sobbing while Love incarnate breathed and coo-ed against my chest. The feelings are beyond indescribable in any human language. To feel something tangible that is so absolutely pure. Untouched by the denseness of this world. A reminder of what we are beneath all the stories we've been told and walls life conditions us to build up. Love. Simple and sweet. Nothing more, nothing less. My greatest wish for my time on this planet is that each and every one of us Love so deeply, tenderly and unconditionally that we become it once more. 💜 . . . #chooselove #belove #jointheLOVEolution #onlylove #wearelove #pure #unconditional #sweetheart #sweetsoul #newsoul #babylove #backtoeden

I'm starting a new celery plant from the left over stump of a store bought head of celery! I grew one, I think, two years ago, and it got huge! Anyways it's easy to do! You just need the butt end of a head of celery, a glass of water, and two toothpicks. Peal off the outer larger leaves then slip the two toothpicks through the outer edge of either side of the stump. Place the stump in a glass making sure the toothpicks are suspending the stump over the glass and just barely allowing the bottom to sit in the water. I'd say keep the water level about a centimeter up the bottom of the stump, no more and no less, so keep it filled. Once roots start to develop and leaves start emerging you can pot the stump up and keep it well watered. Then you will have a new celery plant from something most folks would have considered trash! #regrowfood #regrow #regrowcelery #celery #growingbacktoeden #backtoeden #homesteading #homesteader #farmer #organic #sustainable #sustainableliving #selfsufficient #organicfarming #gardening #organicgardening #farmer #gyo #permiculture #permie

Good day today. I’ve been planning the garden. Watching YouTube videos and what not. And Paul Gautschis Back To Eden has popped up several times growingbacktoeden has told me I need to convert to the wood chips. To be honest I haven’t truly wanted too. They remind me of a child’s playground. And I’ve always been a tiller kinda guy. But the idea has been wearing on me. Low water, healthy soil. Yada yada yada... Only wood chips are pricey and I got a lot of ground to cover. By the picture I’m sure you know where this is going. Today when I got home, there was a tree service company topping my trees because of power lines. I asked them what they did with the wood chips. Hoping they’d be willing to let me have some. Turns out they’re more than happy to unload what they had and what they will have at my place. I told them I’d be happy to take whatever they want to give. So this pile hopefully will grow heavily in the coming week. The downs side is it’s fresh. The upside, it’s free! #backtoeden #woodchipgardening #itssomethingnew

Over a year ago a lady prophecied over me that i was being FASTTRACKED and that I was a deep calls unto deep prophet. A bamboo is WELL ROOTED 3-4 years. My roots indeed run deep. I seem the deepest of God. And there is no telling how deep I will go Did you know the #backtoeden #garden is up here in washington? A man who only eats out of his farm and has tours during summer. God shown him how to grow it the way God intended before the fall of man!! His gardens roots run SOOOOOOOOOO DEEP. Check out the video on youtube. It's 1 hour and 43 min long ) Ps this charm arrived yesterday.

It's dark. It's cold. It's starting to snow again... I'm not happy! 😖 oh and If I'm not mistaken I thought I already told spring, like a few weeks ago, to get a move on it! Do me a favor and tag some of your favorite gardeners so I can get some inspiration and even more excited for spring to arrive! Haha I can only go through seeds and make garden plans for so long before I end up doing the same things again and again lol. Help me! Please! 😂 #snowsucks! #wintersucks! #darkanddreary #growingbacktoeden #backtoeden #homesteading #homesteader #farmer #organic #sustainable #sustainableliving #selfsufficient #organicfarming #gardening #organicgardening #farmer #garden #permiculture #permie #winter

« The simple fact is that we live in a world of conflict and opposites because we live in a world of boundaries. Since every boundary line is also a battle line, here is the human predicament: the firmer one’s boundaries, the more entrenched are one’s battles. The more I hold onto pleasure, the more I necessarily fear pain. The more I pursue goodness, the more I am obsessed with evil. The more I seek success, the more I must dread failure. The harder I cling to life, the more terrifying death becomes. The more I value anything, the more obsessed I become with its loss. Most of our problems, in other words, are problems of boundaries and the opposites they create. » Ken Wilber

Seed saving is a very important thing to know how to do! It's definitely one of the main things I push on gardeners to do more of from year to year! There are many different techniques and methods out there for saving different types of seeds. This is just one for them... Fermented seed! Fermenting seed from watery fruits and vegetables in most cases is probably the best way to preserve and save the seed of your best produce. Some common examples of "watery vegetables" as I call them, would include tomatoes, cucumbers (or any other fruit in the cucurbit family), some melons and squashes, and I want to say eggplant but I'm not entirely sure as I don't grow eggplant and haven't saved the seed from it lol. So what's the benefit of fermenting your seeds? - The fermentation process cleans the seed far better than you would be able to by hand, as it basically rots the pulp and jelly like coating off from around the seed itself. If you have ever really looked at a tomato seed fresh out of the fruit you will see that it is almost in a little clear watery sack. In the fermentation process that sack will deteriorate off the seed and leave you with a clean seed. This is what will allow the seed to store better and longer with less chance of spoiling from mold or bacteria. How do you ferment your seeds? - It's easy! First scrape the seeds out of the fruit and into a jar. Then add water and put a lid on the jar. Let the hard sit on the counter out of direct sun so it doesn't heat up to much. Occasionally shake the jar to help break up the pulp from around the seeds, this will spread up the process a little. After a just a couple days you will see that the clean and viable seed will sink to the bottom of the jar, leaving pulp and unviable seed at the surface of the water. Once you see the separation simply portions out the stuff on top leaving the good seeds in the jar. Then rinse the good seeds a few times with plan clean water. Once you see the seeds and water in the jar is clean. Then strain the seed out and leave them to dry for a day or two on tinfoil or waxed paper (just so they don't stick) before packaging them. Note: I was saving kiwano melons seeds...

🍉Watermelons are one of my all time favorite fruits, super juicy and hydrating and I love them best straight out of the fridge! 🍉 •Did you know that watermelons have the same water content as our brains? They also target brain functions and help lower blood pressure. Even more reasons to eat more of them! 😁 They are a hit with my kids too and perfect for these hot summer days! ☀️ . .
