. . 🇬🇧 Today is World Water Day. Let's remember that it is a rare and precious ressource, and that many people in the world still struggle to have access to it. So let's do our very best to save it and keep it clean! 💪

Day 1: of the #7daysaroundtheworld challenge is Africa - the second largest content in the world! . Was doing a little research about the continent and came across " Cape Floral Region " - which in 2004 was confirmed as a UNESCO world heritage site. . . Situated at the tip of Africa, this majestic floral kingdom is the only one to be fully contained within a single country. It has been recognized as one of the most special places for plants in the world in terms of diversity, density and number of endemic species. The property is a highly distinctive phytogeographical unit which is regarded as one of the six floral kingdoms of the world ( how cool is that 🤗) and is by far the smallest and relatively the most diverse. . The extraordinary assemblage of plant life and it's associated fauna is represented by a series of 13 protected area clusters covering an area of more than a million- hectare. . It is also home to some of the rare, endangered and unique animal species : includes geometric tortoise, table mountain ghost frog etc. . . All these is making me think of how much more are we going to destroy this world? How much more are we going to get greedy? How many more species has to get extent for us to stop being greedy? What are we going to leave behind for the future generations to enjoy ?!?!? . . Thank you Dr Naim for the photo. Allow me to immortalize this image in my Instagram account. This is another throwback to the time when we were in Sudan a few years ago. From left Dr Naim, our friend His Excellency Dato Ashri Muda — an Ambassador to Sudan, me and Moslim. The main reason why we selected the place to be at was due to our friend was there as an Ambassador. We took picture right in front of the Ambassador's official residence in the elite area of Sudan's capital, Khartoum — the very place where White Nile and Blue Nile converge. Sudan as part of Africa, North Africa and yet heavily in Arabic influence is indeed an interesting country. Their official language is Arabic. They hold many things that are not accessible to the outside world with little knowledge known to others. And they too have many interesting places that are yet to be explored fully like the remnants of Pharaohs during their heydays, temples of old, abandoned cities in the harsh desert land, civilizations of the pasts and whatnot. And the asses roaming around the city is very compelling too. We had real good time in this country. It is less-friendly to tourists and visitors due to their closed policy to the outside world over the decades apart from the economic embargo by the world's superpowers. They have not too many facilities to cater to tourists but we managed to make do with what they have to manoeuvre our way through their vast desert lands. The best thing is, they have the most charming people as their citizens. They are beautiful in physiques and even far more beautiful inside as persons. #sudan #khartoum #travel #malaysianembassy #ambassadortosudan #touristsandvisitors #travelinindesert #excitingtrip #memorableexperience #africancontinent #northafrica #arabiccountry #beautifulpeople #charmingpeople #charmingpeople #officialresidence #ambassador #economicembargo #desert #harshland #abandoned #interestingplaces
