So I’ve been feeling a certain type of way about my weight still and getting a bit discouraged because although I’m making a TON of progress, I’m noticing some loose skin- that I really didn’t expect! My back especially- I feel like it looks worse now than it ever has! My belly seems always bloated lately too. Going to take a mini diet break- still going to track my macros though in MFP just because I still want to. HAPPY CHRISTMAS WEEK! Hope everyone has all of their shopping done...I always try my hardest to get gifts finished before the week of so I can slow down and really prepare for the holiday (and remind myself of why this is a holiday to begin with). We meal prepped some pretty simple meals for the week since we’ll be spending lots of time with family, one of which is this taco bowl! . Taco bowls are one of my very favorite things to make - mostly because they’re easy, but also because they’re very versatile! Here we’ve got ground turkey with taco seasoning, sweet potatoes, onions + peppers, tomato sauce, + cilantro over a bed of spinach and topped with green olives + nutritional yeast. So quick to throw together and so delicious 🤤

Self love is an ocean and your heart is a vessel. Make it full, and any excess will spill over into the lives you hold dear, but you must come first 💫 - I need to remember that it’s important to love your body no matter what stage of the process you are at. I’ll be super real. I’m smiling in this picture, but I haven’t been having much fun in the gym lately. My energy has been down, my workouts haven’t been very intense, and I don’t have much focus. — This happens every once and a while, and I know it’s time to switch things up. I am constantly needing to check myself and make sure that I am ENJOYING the gym, because in my past I’ve used it as a place to punish myself. But 9/10 times I love being there, and I feel great about going. — Sooooo.. now it’s time to switch things up. Maybe more running? Maybe more HIIT? Maybe more powerlifting? 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’ll figure it out after the holidays because I’m not going to stress myself out with trying to get to the gym while I’m home with family.
