Back on the uploads starting with a basic strength superset. 5 Reps 5 Sets Weighted Pull Ups BB Back-squats (Pause reps on both exercises) Focus on squeezing the back muscles at the top of the pull up & being on that 90 degrees angle when in the squat. Time under tension will help increase strength & build muscle. #benchday Flat bench with chain for heavy doubles. Worked up to 310+125 # of chain for my heaviest set. Not sure how i feel about this. Don't really have any prior work to really judge how his moved. 435 at the top and it locked out decent so I guess that says something. Was meant to do some legs today but had no time as i was about to start my shift so had to sneak in a poverty bench session instead. Just managed 3 sets of 125 for trebles and 4 reps. As usual trying to build strength and not test it. I rarely ever do 1 rep maxes. wanted do couple more sets and other exercises but literally had no time. Also if I ain't asked for a spot, do not spot me! If I die I die lol. When you train in a environment where there's a lot of non lifters, you will have to tolerate guys spotting ya even you can squeeze reps out. Another volume filled day... I've decided to park #thebridge until I'm done cutting so I can focus on using it to progress and not get bored of it while losing weight! 📜 Anyway, keeping most of the weights relatively low and focusing on form / technique. 📜 So started with #pausesquats for 4 sets of 8 at 95kg (1st set shown) 📜 Then some #temposquats for 3 sets of 8 at 80kg (2nd set shown) 📜 Followed by #romaniandeadlift for 3 sets of 10 at 80kg (1st set shown) 📜 4th was some #seatedshoulderpress for 5 sets of 10 at 45kg (2nd set shown) 📜 And finally #calfraises for 3 sets of 10 at 140/150/160kg (none shown because....calves) 📜 Bw floating around just over 98kg 📜 #powerlifting #powerliftingmotivation #weightloss #weightlossmotivation #weightlifting #weightliftingmotivation #bodybuilding #bodybuildingmotivation #fitnesslifestyle #fitness #fitnessmotivation #fit #fitfam #volumetraining #getshredded #shoulders #legs #legday #glutes #glutepump #rdl #pausereps #calves #teamnocalves
